OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS AND MAKERS
“When a house is built on a solid foundation physically, it is built to stay forever. When a house is built on a solid foundation spiritually, one can learn many things that will stay in his/her heart and mind forever.”
What is a House?
A house is a shelter or refuge. It is a place of importance where we store our day to day selves, a place of safety, a place to reside, a place to dwell. Here at Drawing House we feel that a house is a place to feel connected and to be yourself. With these notions in mind we are inviting artists to contribute to our first ever art show with the theme “What is a house.” The idea is to inspire artworks that discuss/illustrate both the physical and emotional experience of what a house is or can be..
