Course Description:

Learn to draw anime! In this camp students will spend exciting afternoons investigating how anime and manga are drawn. Using professional materials and approaches, each participant will learn to draw anime characters, environments and expressions.  Then  using traditional manga techniques students will create a final comic, that will be printed by Drawing House at the end of the camp!

Workshop Description:

Learn the magic behind animation! from claymation to animated GIFs, Students will learn how to animate using a variety of drawing materials and approaches. Each participant will create their own hand painted animation cel, flip book and hand drawn animation that will be brought to life on computer. Each student will come away from this workshop with a video of their creations.

Camp Description:

Students will learn how characters are created for animated films, comic books and video games. Using professional maquette building materials and processes, each student will design their own character, then sculpt and paint it. Each student will have a fully painted sculpture of their character to keep at the end of the week! All materials included.
